Course description and aims

The student joins his/her research group, and the students take turns reading and explaining a book, or doing exercises and experiments at a much higher level than the period of the bachelor's thesis. The student writes a thesis and makes a presentation detailing his/her research results.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, the student will able to:
1. use his/her knowege and skill with mathematical and computing science to solve problems related to the field,
2. analyze his/her subject mathematically and express this in a logical manner.
3. understand several complex actual problems from the viewpoint of mathematical and computing science, and explain them as algorithms.
4. hold a knowlege and skill with computer architecture and software systems,
5. work as an independent researcher and have the ability to write and give presentations of his/her point of view effectively.
