Regardless of domestic or foreign, this is a subject to grant the unit to students who have off-campus experience in the fields of science and engineering relating to applied chemistry for a certain period.
The Industrial fields related to chemical industry in Japan is an important technology areas that support the international community. It is important to study the actual state of industry with people from different fields and cultures and to get the opportunity to gain experience to contribute to discover and solve problems in an accommodating way. Through the off-campus experience in the field of science and engineering, this course aims to increase the general knowledge on leadingedge
research and product development and intends to cultivate the ability demanded for future researchers and engineers by learning how to read the actual state.

This course allows students to select a theme out of provisions of the concept such as lecture courses. When students choose a theme, the students will consult with the academic advisor. When students choose a study abroad program prepared by Tokyo Tech, the students can consult with the program coordinator.

Class 1 | 1) Students should make a proposal before the quarter to take this course in consultation with the academic advisors. 2) The academic advisers examine what kind of experience can be acquired from the contents and asked to submit a plan , if necessary. 3) A teacher group including the academic advisors make sure the planning content and demand a correction, if necessary. 4) The students have to write and submit a report after the internship to the academic advisers. 5) Students will be assessed on a personal interview along with the contents of the internship planning proposal and after-action report.
