[Summary of the course] This course focuses on the application fields of electrochemistry, following to the basic electrochemistry (Electrochemistry in energy systems). The essence of basic electrochemistry is described, then the applications in various fields such as batteries and electrolysis are described. Electrochemical analysis is also described.
[Aim of the course] Based on the basic electrochemistry, the class aims understanding of its applications in various fields such as batteries and electrolysis and also in analysis.
By the end of this course, students will be able to understand the basics of electrochemical reactions and their use advanced devices and materials.
basic knowledge concerning electrochemical reactions, materials for electrochemical devices, rechargeable batteries, fuel cells, electrolysis
✔ Specialist skills | Intercultural skills | Communication skills | Critical thinking skills | ✔ Practical and/or problem-solving skills |
Lectures will be given on individual topics. During the class, students are given exercise problems related to the lecture.
