Radioisotopes and radioactivity are widely used in the fields of energy, medicine, and life sciences. The aim of this course is to understand not only fundamentals such as characteristics of radioisotopes and radiation and the detection/production methods but also their applications. As a result, you can acquire scientific knowledge of radiation chemistry and nuclear chemistry.
The goals are as follows.
1.You can understand chemical and biochemical effects of radiation and radioisotopes. In addition, you can explain the use of radiation and radioisotopes in the fields of energy/life science/medicine.
2.You can get scientific knowledge of radiation and radioisotopes.
