The physical properties of organic materials are not determined only by their chemical structure. The physical properties are significantly influenced by various factors such as higher order structure of crystallites and amorphous regions, texture, processing history, processing method and environmental conditions. This course discusses various factors influencing the physical properties of organic/polymeric materials and fundamentals of the measurement and analysis techniques.
1. Understand the polymer composite materials.
2. Understand the polymer alloys.
3. Understand the polymer composites filled with nano-carbon .
