Course description and aims

This is one of the courses to train global nuclear safety and security agents in the series of "Nuclear Dojo 1-6".

The objective of this course is to find solutions for "global nuclear power crisis threatening the basis of human existence such as nuclear proliferation, nuclear terrorism, large-scale nuclear power disasters, emergency exposure, etc." (in the nuclear power safety and security field) to create society which safeguards a peaceful and secure life of people. For that purpose this course trains "global nuclear power safety and security agents" with sophisticated international negotiation skills who can succeed as international leaders in Japanese and overseas industry, government, and academia in the field of nuclear power. In this sixth dojo which caps off the Nuclear Dojo courses, students deepen their understanding of what it means to be an international leader to confront crisis through lectures by Tokyo Tech Faculties and stimulated discussion between attendees.

Students will establish their own ideas about what a global leader who confronts crises should be like.
