【abstract】 Metallurgy is a field of materials science covering the physical, chemical behaviours of metal elements, and also the microstructure and elastic-plastic behaviors, etc. Student will conduct representative experiments in metallurgy to learn evaluation methods of metal.
【object】Student will examine important physical and chemical behaviors of metals by means of selected fundamental experiments. Through this lab. course, student will achieve fundamentals of experimental techniques and evaluation methods.
Student will;
study fundamental of vacuum technology and evaporation of metal
examine electroconductivity via 4-points probe method.
study funfamental of optical properties in terms of dielectric constant of metal.
examine optic properties in terms of reflectivity, absorption and transmitance in metal.
