This experiment course aims to learn the optical, thermal and mechanical properties of the bulk ceramic materials through the variosu sets of experimental works. IN the first half, the fundamental experiments will be done to measure the properties mentioned above, and understand the relationship with the sturcutre of ceramics. IN the last half, the advamced experiments will be planned by the studenets themselves under the guidance of the staffs. Tihs advanced experiment expects to give the opportunities to grow the potential to manage the experiments and development of materials processing.
Learn about the optical, thermal, mechanical proerties and their mechanisms.
Develop the potential and skills for the researcher and developper of materials.
This course request the studenst to pay attention to the practical use of ceramic mateirlas and their superior functionalities.
Optical transmittance, wavelength conversion, thermal expansion, thermal diffusion, luminance, mechanical strength
✔ Specialist skills | Intercultural skills | Communication skills | ✔ Critical thinking skills | ✔ Practical and/or problem-solving skills |
All the experimental works will be done by group.
