In this class, students learn surface structure of metals, thermodynamics of electrochemistry, kinetics of electrochemistry and corrosion phenomena of metals.
Electrochemistry is very important for understanding metallic corrosion, electrolytic process, battery and fuel cell etc. This course will allow them to understand fundamental electrochemistry and corrosion phenomena.
By completing this course, student will be able to understand fundamental electrochemistry and mechanism of metallic corrosion.
