Medical diagnosis and treatment technology has advanced with the development of medical image processing technology, In general, the medical image processing refers to the processing and analysis of medical images that have already been acquired. But in this lecture, we learn also the data acquisition, image reconstruction. Lectures topics are the characteristics of medical imaging, image reconstruction and processing techniques of X-ray, gamma-ray, and computer aided diagnosis technologies and so on.
This course facilitates students’ understanding of how signal processing and image processing technology that have learned has been used in the medical field and the growth of a telecommunications engineer in the madical imaging field.
This course is for
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Acquire knowledge related to the fundaentals of the image reconstruction technique and the image processing technique.
2) Understand the practical use and application of the medical field.
3) Understand future subjects of those systems.
