Course description and aims
In order to conduct research in a graduate program, it is essential not only to discuss about their own research areas effectively, but also to comprehend other research areas and discuss with researchers in those fields.
In this course students present literature from recent trends of own research field in turn and discuss on those presentations.
Student learning outcomes
Through presentation sessions on recent articles in academic journals, students will be able to:
(1) share the latest issues in industrial engineering and economics.
(2) share recent findings in cutting-edge researches in industrial engineering and economics.
(3) discover novel viewpoints through discussions and apply them to their own research problems.
(4) improve presentation skills based on their own experiences, feedback from others, and observation of others.
