Course description and aims

To foster creativity, planning ability for practical research and development in bioscience and biotechnology fields, and the skills for scientific communication with the students from the other research fields, students plan to develop a new industrial product (goods) in a team (2-3 students).

Student learning outcomes

By completing this course, students will be able to develop the following skills:
1) Specialized practical skills to translate from basic sciences to practical products (systems) in the fields of bioscience and biotechnology R&D.
2) Communication and presentation skills in bioscience and biotechnology fields.

Class flow

Main practice in this course is collaborating work with team members. In the final class, all teams give the presentations of their plans for development of new product or system.
