Course description and aims

[Course outline] Students will develop advanced element technology that utilized chemical engineering knowledge, as well as carry out research projects related to process design. Students will write articles on the findings, and hold presentations through progress reports and report meetings related to relevant research literature surveys.
[Course goals] For developing advanced element technology that utilizes chemical engineering knowledge, as well as carrying out research projects related to process design, students are expected to develop the skills to conduct planned research, for which an outline has been defined.

Student learning outcomes

[Objectives] By taking this course, students will:
1) Improve their skills for conducting planned research with a defined research outline.
2) Through group discussions related to research projects, students will improve their communication skills, implementation skills, and problem solving skills.

Keywords

development of elemental technique, process design, communication ability, chemical engineering

Competencies that will be developed

Specialist skills Intercultural skills Communication skills Critical thinking skills Practical and/or problem-solving skills

Class flow

In developing advanced element technology that leverages knowledge in chemical engineering, and research projects related to process design, students will do progress reports and hold report meetings related to relevant research literature surveys, write an article on the results and report at a presentation meeting.

Course schedule/Required learning
