Course description and aims

This course offers introductory knowledges of polymer gels and its medical applications. It is an intensive lecture provided by Prof. Prof. Takamasa Sakai, University of Tokyo.

Student learning outcomes

Students learn polymer physics on single chains and polymer solutions, further acquiring structural and mechanical properties correlation in polymer gels. Students can also learn the current status of art in the field of basic research of medical application of polymer gels.
