Course description and aims

This course provides a chance to have work experiences for a specified term (more than 1 month) at companies, research institutes and so forth.

The course aims to enable students to understand usefulness of theories and techniques in Industrial Engineering and Economics through their applications to real-world problems.

Student learning outcomes

Students will be able to have skills/understandings of Industrial Engineering and Economics connected with their experience of problem solving in real working conditions.

Work as an intern at a company, research institute and so forth.
Paid internships are exempt from this credit.
Student must consult the course chair in advance.
Student must follow university-prescribed procedures on internship contract, most importantly to sign an internship agreement prior to the start.
