The modern Information and Communication Systems have been developed based on the vast knowledge on Information and Communication engineering.
In order to become a successful researcher in Information and Communication Engineering area and/or senior executive of related industries, learning basic concepts of this area individually is not enough, but a viewpoint that enables us to understand Communications and Signal Processing area as a whole is required. The purpose of this course is to help students gain the viewpoints mentioned above by providing important ideas that are included as the basis of Communications and Signal Processing area, and understand their roles in Information and Communication Systems by summarizing their relations systematically.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Understand the important ideas that are included as the basis of Communications and Signal Processing fields.
2) Understand the roles of information and communication system, and capture a viewpoint from whole Communications and Signal Processing fields.
