Course description and aims

The doctoral course students conduct research on the theme in Electrical and Electric Engineering different from the theme of his/her doctoral thesis and pursue survey, investigation, analysis, design, fabrication, and making the report.
The course aims expanding of professional fields and increasing the power of execution, by researching and developing the theme different from his/her theme of his/her doctoral thesis.

Student learning outcomes

Following abilities are expected.
1) Professional expertise for identifying the scientific and technological essence of electrical and electronic engineering.
2) Ability to acquire expertise in areas outside of electrical and electronic engineering and connect it to practical problem solving.
3) Ability to solve the emerged issues and to propose creative ideas by use of the professional knowledge.
4) Ability to explain concepts logically, develop arguments, and put them in writing.
