Course description and aims

This lecture describes robot, AI, and sensing technology for human-robot and human-machine interaction such as the design of interactive systems, verbal and non-verbal interaction, perceptual interaction, human sensing technology, scene understanding technology by researchers in Honda Research Institutes, accompanied with an introduction to cutting-edge research being proceeded in Honda Research Institutes.

Class flow

An omnibus-style lecture by a researcher at the Honda Research Institute (HRI). Cutting-edge technologies related to intellectual communication and social interaction will be introduced from various aspects.
