Course description and aims

In this lecture basic knowledge to design and construct mechatronics systems is studied. Since importance of the mechatronics systems becomes bigger and bigger in a society, basic properties and limitations of materials, sensors, and actuators should be understood to realizae mechatronics systems though it is also important to design the systems with creativity. In this lecture students study about basic knowledges to desin and construct mechatronics systems and to study each topic deeply.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Understand basic structure of mechatronics system
2) Have knowledge of material, sensor, and actuator
3) Design and construct mechatronics systems

Keywords

mechatronics systems, material, sensor, actuator, system design

Competencies that will be developed
