Students will learn the basic knowledge needed in real industry such as life science related knowledge, knowledge of life science related policies, intellectual property strategies for life sciences, and knowledge on commercialization. Students cultivate practical problem solving skills through case studies, etc.
Students will complete the following items.
1) Acquire basic knowledge needed in industry related to human centered science and biomedical engineering, in other words technology development and engineering R&D related to people's health, treatments, the environment, etc.
2) By learning about each example, and becoming aware of the relationship between examples from industry and the basics of the discipline studied in the graduate major, students gain a deeper understanding of human centered science and biomedical engineering.
