In early part of this course, the basic concept of retorsynthesis will be focused, and the latter half part will deal with several examples of multistep synthesis, particularly introducing synthetic approaches to natural products.
At the end of this course, students will be able to have an understanding of basic concept of retrosynthesis and to learn about various synthetic tactics and strategies, enabling access to complex natural products.
