Course description and aims

This course focuses on fundamentals of precision machinery and introduces modern precision machines and micro-nano machines.

Student learning outcomes

In order for students to understand the concept of precision machinery, the instructor lectures on many precision elements such as bearings, guideways, feeding elements, actuators and sensors and fabrication methods.

Assessment criteria and methods

Students' course scores are based on mini tests and a final exam. In the final grade, 35% for mini tests and 65% for the final exam.
