Course description and aims

The primary goal is to complete an internship offered by a company or agency in order to gain new knowledge and/or skills off-campus and to learn how to apply knowledge and/or skills gained on-campus. The content of the internship must be appropriate as a part of the Mechanical Engineering curriculum. Both planning and reporting are required as a part of this course. The duration of the internship is normally two weeks in this course.

(1) to gain new knowledge and/or skills that are usually difficult to gain on-campus, and/or
(2) to learn how to apply knowledge and/or skills gained off-campus.
