On the premise that the students have completed "Basic Bioscience Laboratory I", this second course aims to nurture the abilities to carry out experimental studies on their own by having them learn basic skills behind the more extended areas than those the first course covered.
When all of the course menus are complete, students will have learned the concept of experimental error, extraction, chromatography, centrifugation, electrophoresis, and the qualitative analysis of organic compounds. Especially, they will develop the basic experimental skills in biochemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry.

In the first 30 min, the contents of experiments will be detailed. Then, each group with 2 or 3 students will carry out a given experimental subject based on what they read in the text book beforehand and learned in the introduction lecture. Teaching assistants are ready to instruct the students when they are stuck during the experiments. When the assigned experiments are complete, the students must report it to a teaching assistant and finalize the subject by tidying up the bench and summarizing data. Some subjects may assign you to submitt the report at the day of its experiment.
