This course focuses on energy conversion from fossil fuel or renewable energy into electricity using fired power plants, fuel cells, photovoltaic cell and also focuses on aftertreatment of exhaust gases for protection of environment. Then, students can understand well what kind of devices will be useful for environment-friendly community through discussion and debate each other.
By competing this course including debate about thermal engineering for a wide range scale from comfortable environment controlled easily by humanbeing to global environment depended on huge consumption of fossil fuel, students will able to make an image of future sustainable community.
