This is an exercise course corresponding to the lecture course Quantum Mechanics I (ZUB.Q204).
Students will be able to get a better understanding by solving problems.
Through solving problems, students will be able to:
1) explain the fundamental concepts of the quamtum mechanics such as wave-particle duality and stochastic interpretation.
2) solve the Schoedinger equations for some simple systems.
3) explain the quantum phenomena such as tunnel effects, discretization of physical quantities, and uncertainty principle.
wave-particle duality, wave function, quantum state, Schroedinger equations
✔ Specialist skills | Intercultural skills | Communication skills | Critical thinking skills | Practical and/or problem-solving skills |
In every class students will be given some problems and solve them. Solution will be explained in the latter half of the class.
