Course description and aims

This course is designed for students who already have the Graduate Attributes (GAs) for doctoral course students (GA0D and GA1D) through their previous or current working experience. In principle, students must have at least two years of work experience in a company, etc; however, this does not apply to those who have experience and achievements that meet the requirements of the GAs. This course offers 2 credit.

The applicant must have already acquired the GAs for doctoral students through previous or current working experience.

Class flow

Examples of working experience and achievements that may be considered for credit in this course include, but are not limited to,

- Experience in leading a company or other organizations
- Activities related to standardization
- Leadership in charge of public events
- Experience in presentations at academic conferences as lead author
- Experience in academic society activities, serving as an executive committee member of an international conference, etc.
- Experience in writing journal papers or reviews at lead author
- Leadership in Patent applications

The application form must clearly explain how the applicant has acquired each of GA0D and GA1D in working experience and achievements.

Submit the application form to the EPS career course committee via the faculty advisor. Do not officially register for the course until the application is accepted.
