This course focuses on cosmochemistry following the textbook "Treatise on Geochemistry". The basic knowledge about the origin and evolution of the solar system. In the second half of the course, students will make presentations regarding the topics below;
1) Formation of the solar system
2) Presolar world
3) Meteoirtics
4) Chondrites and their components
5) Early solar system chronology
6) Moon, Mars
7) IDPs, Comets
At the end of this course, students will be able to understand:
1) origin of the solar system
2) meteorites and their application
3) dating of extraterrestrial materials
4) origin of planets
early solar system, isotopes, meteorites, chemical analysis, planets, chronology
