Course description and aims

This course pursues a long-term project at companies located in Japan or outside of Japan. This course aims cultivation of wide view and rich communication abilities by conducting research and development activity using his/her major knowledge in different environments from Tokyo Tech.

Student learning outcomes

1) Ability to conduct research with global awareness of the research and development trends.
2) Ability of communication to conduct smooth research and development with sufficient mutual understanding.
3) Ability to solve the emerged issues and to propose creative ideas by use of the professional knowledge.

Specifics of the assessment criteria and methods, being in accordance with the student learning outcomes 1)-3), will be determined prior to the start of the course.
Students must submit the internship report to the Energy Science and Engineering course. The course will evaluate it with the assessment criteria.
