Course description and aims

This is a lecture of mathematics (especially, complex functions and Fourier/Laplace transform etc. ) that is indispensable for those who study chemistry.
The goal is to fully understand mathematical techniques to calculate several complicated integrations and to solve some differential equations, as well as the physical and chemical meanings.

The goal is to understand the meaning of each topics on mathematics and to fully put them to use as tools for study of chemistry.

Class flow

Each class consists of outline of basic topics, explanation of exercise problems, and introduction of related topics. Students are required to learn outside of the classroom for preparation and review purposes under the instructor's guidance.
