Course description and aims

This class aims to build leadership and capacities, abilities to solve comprehensive and complex real issues. For such purposes, all the students combine their professionals and more general competencies with participating in several workshops and group works. After group works, students will write a final report to unite their experiences and learnings, findings. Through these experiences, students will develop the knowledge to solve comprehensive and complex energy and social problems.

Class flow

This class consists mainly of 3 processes watching video guidance, joininin minimumly 2 types of different workshops, writing a final report. More details are written in the following section.

Course schedule/Required learning

Class 1 1.) All the students have to see the orientation contents(To be provided on demand from this class). 2.) All the students need to join the workshop orientation(To be provided by Tokyo Tech Academy for leadership(Total)). 3.) Students must submit a course plan for the semester to the lecturer following the instructions from the orientation. Students have to choose at least 2 types of different group works. Each program consists of 5-6 different workshops ranging from half a day to several days. 4.) After all participations in the workshops, students write and submit the final report. Instructions will be provided in each workshop.
