Course description and aims

Perform an off-campus project at companies or institutes of the Super Smart Society Promotion consortium to develop and/or expand their own (cyber or physical) specialty by incorporating the perspectives of different fields. Students should submit a plan in consultation with the host organization and carry out the project under the instruction of the academic supervisor and the Social Cooperation Committee. In the project plan, students draw their career plans and plan to acquire the skills necessary to realize them in the project. For the internship duration of 2 months or more, students get 4 credits.

Student learning outcomes

Through internships at companies or institutes, students will gain first-hand experience on the knowledge and skills required in the super-smart society, rethink the position and meaning of their research in society. In doing so, they design their career so that they will be able to contribute to solving problems in the real world in collaboration with others.
