Course description and aims

For students interested in starting a venture business, the program will provide a practical curriculum aimed at the "commercialization of research themes" through writing a concrete business plan. We will invite the presidents of Tokyo Tech venture companies to talk about their business experiences, and we will also focus on fieldwork that is unique to the Ota City collaborative program. The program will provide opportunities for stimulating experiences, including visits to unique facilities in the city, such as cutting-edge incubation facilities and town factories that are normally inaccessible, as well as business presentations from the people in charge of each facility. In addition, lectures by guests (MIRAI Relations, C2D, Nippon Broadcasting System, Jonan Shinkin Bank, Tokyo Stock Exchange, etc.), visits to various facilities (Haneda Innovation City (HIC), JAL SKY MUSEUM, factory apartments, etc.).
If the number of applicants exceeds 10, participants will be selected after interviewing them about their entrepreneurial themes. Bachelor's and master's course students with entrepreneurial themes may take the course upon consultation with the person in charge (credits are in the 600s, and credits will be granted per the study guide).
