AGL Off-campus program is aiming to make students recognize to what extent the skills and knowledge they have acquired in the AGL Dojo program and/or in the courses of their major field can be accepted, and what they should learn more, by applying the skills and knowledge to the real society.
Prior to the Off-campus Project: Practice, in which students accomplish practical projects in the domestic/foreign companies or research institutes so as to produce results valuable in the real society, in this Off-campus Project: Introduction, students decide the company/institute and the contents of project that fit to his/her career plan and leadership, with consulting AGL faculty members. In this class, asking for AGL's Off-campus program coordinators' help, students negotiate with the company/institute about the hosting and the contents of project by themselves, and perform preparations of the project. Through this course, students recognize their career plan clearly, understand the society-oriented project and leadership, and polish up the skills of negotiation and consensus building.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
(1) Recognize one's career plan clearly.
(2) Propose society-oriented project, and understand the leadership required to accomplish it.
(3) Demonstrate the abilities of negotiation and consensus building through the negotiation with the host of project.

Students will be assessed on the achievement of the learning outcomes such as the recognition of one's career plan, proposing the society-oriented project, understanding of the leadership required to accomplish it, and abilities of negotiation and consensus building through the negotiation with the host of project.
Students must have passed the entrance screening for AGL program, and must start learning in the Dojo Program. It is desirable to complete Introduction and Group Work in both Dojos for Science and Engineering and for Management and Society.
Because it may take long time to adjust the contents of project and to negotiate with the host company/institution, please give yourself plenty of time to apply for this course before the desired start time of the project.
