In this course, students will practice the abilities they learned in "Fundamental Group Work for Leadership (TAL.W501) by pursuing long-term group projects such as idea generation and application development. The projects will be executed by following a methodology (e.g., Lean Launchpad) introduced in the lectures.
In addition, students will describe their career plan and get feedback from their peer and instructors to realize how they can exploit their abilities in their future career.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
(1) Propose the practical ideas for solving the social issues by utilizing the skills and knowledge of the major field.
(2) Explicate the ideas properly, and build consensus in the group by respecting the opinion of others.
(3) Improve the proposing idea appropriately based on feedback from the society.
(4) Accomplish the group work as the project.

Process of this course basically consists of students' group work for problem setting, presentation of the concept of solutions, and improvement of the ideas by the feedback from the society. Theme of the workshop/discussion depends on the students' intentions and the social situation at the time.

Class 1 | By the group work over seven weeks, students are required to propose a solution of social issues and to improve it by obtaining criticism of those who have the expertise. In this class, the course instructors will provide a known framework for the group work process; for example, Lean Launchpad and Programming Boot Camp. Students will be assessed on the achievement of the learning outcomes such as proposing the practical ideas for solving the social issues, consensus building in the group, dealing with the feedback from the society and so on, as well as on the rationality of discussion and contribution to collaboration work.
Students must have successfully completed the Fundamental Group Work for Leadership (TAL.W501).
