講義概要

現代の人類社会は、環境、エネルギー、食糧、格差、紛争、感染症問題など、世界的規模の様々な問題に直面しています。このような危機的な時代の高度専門人材は、深い専門性はもちろんのこと、自らの専門領域を超えて、社会の様々な関与者と協働をしながら、社会の具体的な問題解決に資するプログラムやプロジェクトを率いていく能力が求められます。本講義は、本学でそのような人材を育成するための、グローバルリーダー教育院（AGL）で学ぶために必要な心構え、主体的姿勢と構想力、企画力を身に着けるため、前半は、講師による問題提起と討論を中心に、後半は、自らグローバルリーダーを志すうえでの課題を設定し、教育研究プロジェクトを提案し、相互に評価を行う、グループワークを中心に進めます。本講義は、AGL所属希望者が必須とされる受講科目の一つですが、希望者以外の受講も歓迎します。
Modern human society faces a number of global threats to be solved such as environment, energy, food, disparity, conflicts and infections. Under these circumstances, academic highly specialized individuals are also required to lead global pioneering research and development (R&D) projects or programs, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders in the social fields for solving the specific social problems, while deepening their own academic specialties. This lecture aims to help students acquire basic knowledge and abilities for pursuing their careers, such as becoming a global leader in the future, through theme-based discussions and group work. Although this lecture is one of the compulsory subjects for those who intend to apply for the “Academy for Global Leadership (AGL) Program”, all Master-PhD candidates (as well as students in the second semester of the 4th year undergraduate) are welcome.

講義の目的

本講義は、受講生が世界的規模の問題解決に対し、将来国際的博士リーダーとして活躍していくために、専門領域における深い専門性・独創性のみならず、広い視野や構想力、企画力、コミュニケーション力等の能力を伸ばしていくことの重要性、また今後どのように自らのキャリアをデザインしていくか、自ら考え、課題を設定し、行動に移していくことの重要性に気づき、そのための主体的姿勢を身に着けることを目的としています。
This lecture gives students opportunities to realize the importance of developing abilities for pursuing their career as global leaders in the future, engaging in open-minded, self-motivated challenges beyond their own academic specialties during the master-and-doctoral training courses.
