講義概要
Students who have completed Japanese 3 or have the equivalent proficiency may register for this. You will learn how to read and write basic Japanese for science and technology, making use of grammar and vocabulary at the J4 level.
講義の目的
科学技術の基礎的なことばと文型を学びながら、科学的なトピックのテキストを読んで、専門の研究ができるようにすることを目的にする。

J4ST is offered for students who have successfully completed one of the J3 regular, J3L and J3S classes, or have passed the J4 placement test.
Graduate students will be given 2 credits after completion of the class.
Students who need credits from this class need to register the class not only with the ISC, but also with the Student Affairs Division (kyomuka).

Evaluation
Students' achievement on Japanese Language programs are evaluated
through an examination at the end of each semester;
100 (perfect), 60 or more (pass) 59 or less (failure)
○ Students have to attend at least 2/3 of class hours, otherwise no credit will be given.
