This course is for advanced English speakers. The content will focus on a selection of current, useful, colloquial and idiomatic English expressions. Students will study and practice the new vocabulary each lesson.
The aim of this course is to expand the students’ knowledge of colloquial and idiomatic English expressions, and to increase each student's ability to use the targeted language fluently and confidently.
Throughout this course, students will complete a series of tasks, each consisting of a different selection of colloquial and idiomatic expressions. Verbal skills will be exercised in classroom activities such as role-playing dialogues and presentations. The emphasis will be on the practical usage of each task’s targeted language. Feedback will be given and ways to improve language skills suggested.
Print-outs will be provided as needed.
This course is for graduates.
The final grade will be allocated based on the following criteria: attendance, class work and participation, and an end of term oral test.
