Purpose of lecture

This lecture focuses on the basic and advancedorganic synthesis. The former will mainly cover the carboanionic C-C bond formations. The latter will deal with the roles of organic synthesis in research and development of new drugs. Some studies in pharmaceutical companies are explained as examples.
