The aim of this seminar is to develop students’ confidence in communicating in English and to cultivate their skills in speaking, writing, listening and reading. Whereas the main focus will be on academic English, discussion topics might include current social issues, such as ecology, education, community development, technology and culture. Both individual and group works will be involved in this course. By the end of the course, students should be able to express their ideas and to discuss their research topics in English.
