講義の目的
At first, this course introduces networking and application protocols used in the Internet, which are bases for learning information systems. This course is intended for anyone wishing to understand how TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol), DNS (Domain Name System), SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol), and HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) protocols operate.
Second, this course introduces basic Web technologies for learning information system, a recent Web world, evolutions in education by ICT (Information and Communication Technology), and guidelines to make e-Learning courses more effective. The basic Web technologies include HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol), CGI (Common Gateway Interface), Cookie, Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML), DOM (Document Object Model), and Web application framework. This course is also intended for anyone wishing to learn these technologies and effects in education.
