The aim of this course is to provide students with good opportunities to improve their skills of communication in English for the international conference and academic journals. Students should practice as many times as possible in each session.
FIRST, the students will be supplied with general ideas how to compose academic papers in English, which should be followed by students’ practice (assignment 1).
SECONDLY, some hints for talk at the international conference will be given to students who will be required to revise the paper (assignment 1) into a draft of talk (assignment 2).
THIRDLY, based on the draft (assignment 2), the students should compose their own PowerPoint presentations for their talks after the lecture how to create them (assignment 3).
FINALLY, the students will be obligated to deliver their papers with PowerPoint presentation (assignment 4) followed by peer review.

ii) How to compose an effective Powerpoint presentation in English
iii) How to make discussions in English
