Outline of lecture

[Overview]
In this course, we study methods and techniques for human interface design, construction and evaluation. First we study overview of multimodal interface technology, and then study recent progress of cognitive engineering and human factor engineering. We also study the human information processing model, and discuss ideal design and evaluation technology based on the human information processing model. Finally we study next generation human interface technology.

[Keywords]
Cognitive engineering; human factor engineering; human information processing model, design and construction technology; multimodal interface; examples of real design and construction; evaluation technology; psychological measurement
