Outline of lecture

Asymmetric reaction is one of the most powerful methods to prepare chiral compounds.
Presented herein are some of the efficient asymmetric reactions by which high enantiomeric excess of the products is attained. The principle and the mechanism for the creation of chiral centers in the molecules are also discussed.
