Outline of lecture

In this roundtable seminar we intend to identity and improve skills in academic writing (i.e., those used for technical journals) as well as to improve oral presentation techniques, assisted by Power Point or similar media.

Meets in CUEE Conference Room #303 Midorigaoka Building #3 (third floor).
(NOTE: new students are accepted in both terms.)

The first class will be held Tuesday, October 5th, in Room 303, Bldg. #3.

Purpose of lecture

This seminar is a continuation of ATC Skills I and meets regularly two days per week, at the first periods on Tuesday and Friday during term. The class is fully interactive and attendance is compulsory.

Plan of lecture

Requirements are identical (see ATC Skills I) and students will proceed at their own pace within the context of what the group achieves. Students themselves, as well as the instructor, will provide constructive criticism and overall support for everyone's work.

Class meeting times are the same as in the spring term, and regular attendance is both compulsory and vital to your success.
