講義概要

Applications of quantum mechanics to communication and computation are explained. Topics will include quantum teleportation, quantum cryptography, and quantum algorithms. Prerequisite is linear algebra only. I will explain mathematics and physics used in the explanation of the above topics. The textbook is "Quantum Computation and Quantum Information" by M. A. Nielsen and I. L. Chuang (ISBN 0521635039), from which homework is chosen.

講義の目的

Applications of quantum mechanics to communication and computation are explained. Topics will include quantum teleportation, quantum cryptography, and quantum algorithms. Prerequisite is linear algebra only. I will explain mathematics and physics used in the explanation of the above topics.
