Outline of lecture

There is currently considerable commercial and scientific interest in the production of fine particles employing aerosol-based methods. The objective of this course is to provide fundamentals on the behavior of fine particles in gas phase. In addition, some of recent topics on materials processing by using aerosol-based method will be presented. Students have to prepare reading, bring and review the course textbook (Hinds, W. C., 窶廣EROSOL TECHNOLOGY窶, John Wiley & Sons, New York (1999)) to every class.
