Purpose of lecture

Our atmosphere protects us from harmful uv radiation and keeps us warm.Chemical processes which affect it are therefore important for us to understand.This course will provide you with a basic vocabulary of "Atmospheric Chemistry" and discuss topics such as: acid rain,the ozone "hole",photochemical smogs and climate change.
