In this course, students will enhance their academic reading skills by studying a variety of genres, discussing them in class, and responding through writing. Objectives include developing strategic reading skills and increasing reading speed, as well as expanding vocabulary knowledge. Furthermore, students will learn to refine their note-taking skills.
By the end of this course, students will be able to read articles and written materials of varying lengths, responding with a well-framed argument both in written and oral form.
