講義概要
This course offers an effective way of understanding academic issues and expressing ideas in English. Students are required to attend all classes and give a presentation in English (3min). All texts are read in English, and discussion and presentations are conducted in English.
講義の目的
The chief objective of the course is to raise students’ skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. By listening to various interviews and watching DVDs of academic lectures, students will be able to comprehend academic issues presented in English. Through preparing and delivering the required presentation, students will study how to compose effective presentations in English.
